Hi my name is Germaine, fifteen and residing in singapore. I'm not that girly-girl who you're looking for, i do rant, gossip, talk too much, be over-critical, over-think. Sometimes i do go a little crazy in public places, maybe because i've stayed at home for too long. Walking under the rain has got to be my all-time favorite and i definitely love pink. You could also say I am head over heels in love with Minho, a competitive freak and the main rapper of shinee. I love stitch too, it's squishy and it has big eyes.

Results were released officially on the 10th of Jan and I had tons of mixed feelings as I entered the school grounds. (like who doesn't?) I was worried that I would not score well and disappoint both my parents and myself, (which I don't want to). Within a few minutes, the school hall was jam packed with graduated students and we were all getting seated in line. One of my classmates asked about our class progress and my form teacher told us we did not do too good, neither did we did badly. Tbh, after what she said, I became much more anxious. What if I failed math and other subjects? Would I not be eligible for JC then? My thoughts were interrupted when Ms Sakinah went on stage, with an unreadable expression and her share of 2012's result analysis. Pure geography was a 100% pass and that spelled relief for me, as well as for ms Lim as we were actually her first batch of pure geography students. After what seemed like a good few minutes, the result slip was then given out to students according to register number. My heart was pounding so hard at that moment and all I could watch was the expressions on my friends' faces and congratulate them if they did well. THEN CAME ME. I walked, with heavy footsteps towards the chair and sat down. My form teacher handed my cert to me and I was pretty shocked to see that I have actually passed all my subjects with an ugly C for math. I was asked if I was satisfied with my results and I nodded immediately. I did not put much effort to some of the subjects and the results turned out to be quite unexpected. I had Buddha to thank actually, for giving me such blessings. I was eligible for JC and poly and that set my heart at ease.

And oh, I turned 17! I had a birthday party at my house with various activities such as running man organised. First was the drinking session, followed by the drawing and last but not least, the nerve wrecking bell chase! It was pretty fun to be the chaser since we do not need to complete a mission. Of course, all that running made us hungry and eventually we had a buffet dinner and a birthday cake!

Just a month before the end of O Levels! Oh how time flies, I did not expect time to pass so quickly. It'll be a new year soon and I'll be 17! Yay! At the same time, I really do hope a year of hard work would pay off~ I have been studying 'quite' diligently with all the O level practice papers. Let's all hope for the best and anticipate the good results in future! Good luck to all those taking their end of year examinations too! Fighting! ^^

So what I have been envious recently is the other sec 4s who have already stepped down from their respective ccas... Apart from the performing art groups who needs to perform for the school anniversary. Not to mention that the mid year examinations are around the corner.. I guess I have to get used to this kind of routine, having sufficient sleep is the only thing I hope for right now in order to keep my mood up and spirit gleaming for lessons. Home works are piling up my table once again. Sometimes I wonder if the teacher have discussed this over the meeting table, to give homework of different subjects all at once. Because when there's no homework, there's really none, and when there is, all home works of different subjects will come, shooting like flying daggers towards us, pitiful students. But of course, getting enough sleep is what that counts. Imagine sitting at the classroom, half dead, yawning away (which I usually do) as the teacher explains the question that takes hour to understand. And because you can't understand anything, you end up learning nothing but how to sleep in class.

Spending long hours on the computer is long gone for me. I'd always be doing my work first before everything else, just in case I fall back into the bad hands of leisure. It felt good yet I had to complain from time to time about the tiring, insufficient rest time we have even at the beginning of the year. Well if you've just entered secondary school and you're complaining, a round of applause for you because there's more that meets your way throughout the years in secondary school. The reason I felt good was because I feel that I'm on track, with the class and learning new things, applying my knowledge every now and then. Work has been quite light for this week though (maybe just the beginning), it could be done on time and I even had time for tv and a short nap, which explains the reason why I'm awake now. And since it's the 14th of February, happy valentines to everybody out there, regardless of whether you are attached or single, you are loved ;) Time flies really, it's already the second month.

School has been rather hectic as usual. Stacks of homework had been given to us, students even on Chinese new year holidays. Like, will we even have time to do them? We would spend most of our time outdoors, visiting our relatives, getting red packets, and yet we still have to keep in mind that there is a stack of papers waving at us as soon as we get home. Please, I really need a break!

Yikes! I just realized I have abandoned my blog recently because of my busy schedule in school. It's 2012, how time flies and I'm officially a 16 year old teenage girl who is stressing her self out and working harder than before for her o levels. Basically, I have been restraining myself from going to the computer but there's still my iPhone. But at least I spend much more time on revising my work instead which is kind of productive and definitely much more beneficial. Today was an enjoyable day. Had pe and didn't really run but dd some brisk walk due to my injured toe. I dont even know where that injury came from, probably after drama practice yesterday. But it's okay... And after school, I managed to convince my parents into letting me drop higher mother tongue! It's too much a burden for me and it's definitely not helping me in terms of my academic results. Its tiring to be constantly involved in after school activities and you have to complete your work a day before school starts. So I have made a conclusion, to study hard in my other subjects, especially maths and science (since I'm bad at it) . Till then, this year is going to be a tough and fast year, good luck to everyone out there too!!!! ;)
